Passwords and Account information
The subscriber is solely responsible to maintain the secrecy of their passwords and account information. While news2neighborhoods.com has provided you the ability to store information including sensitive information on the Website, we at news2neighbourhoods.com have adopted many levels of security to protect this information. Be aware, however, that any individual with your account information (User Name) and password can access this information. To avoid automatic submission of forms, CAPTCHA implementation has been put in place. These are those strange looking letters or numbers that appear at the bottom of your registration page that help protect you when using News2Neighborhoods. Many companies use this protective feature. i.e., CraigsList.
Also, security modules have been implemented on the site too. Password set by the user are masked internally to avoid passwords from being accessible in conjunction with SQL injection, so that user input is verified and hackers are avoided from hacking the system.
Due to the nature of the Internet and computer security, we cannot warrant or guarantee that security will never be breached.
We take your privacy seriously.
